The VIP Cancer Registry provides an opportunity for students to:
Participating students will receive registration information from their college’s PPE Coordinator. This PPE initiative is composed of a series of four (4) required virtual meetings with required assignments between meetings.
Once a student has registered for SEER Educate and has access to the OHIMA Learning Management System (LMS), students can answer the question in the Confirmation Quiz. Students will then gain access to the link for the Cancer Registry Kick-off Meeting #1.
During the Cancer Registry Kick-off Meeting #1, a keyword will be shared with participants. This keyword will be used in the quiz to make available to the student the link to the next meeting where students will learn about their first group of SEER Educate assignments (consisting of A&P, medical terminology, group histology).
During the SEER - Anatomy & Physiology, Medical Terminology & Histology Meeting #2, a keyword will be shared with participants. This keyword will be used in the quiz to make available to the student the link to the next meeting where students will learn about their second group of SEER Educate assignments (consisting of casefinding).
During the SEER - Casefinding Meeting #3, a keyword will be shared with participants. This keyword will be used in the quiz to make available to the student the link to the final meeting where students will share feedback and assessment information.
After the final meeting on Follow-Up and Resume Component Meeting #4, students are required to take a final quiz in the OHIMA LMS, where upon completion the student will receive a certificate for 18 PPE hours. Students can access their VIP certificate within their profile on OHIMA website.

**Students must access meeting link for virtual meetings from inside the LMS for it to successfully track your attendance.
