She counsels health care providers and health plans regarding their health information technology (HIT) and data use issues, including information privacy and security under HIPAA/HITECH, state privacy laws, 42 C.F.R. Part 2, breach response, EHR contracting and implementation issues, complex data sharing arrangements, telehealth, and the prohibition against information blocking under the 21st Century Cures Act.
