Speaker: Dr. Erica Remer, MD, FACEP, CCDS, ACPA-C, is a practicing emergency physician for 25 years and physician advisor of a large multi-hospital system turned independent consultant. Dr. Remer is a national expert on documentation, CDI, and ICD-10. She has authored numerous articles and is the co-host of a weekly national podcast, Talk Ten Tuesdays. Dr. Remer is the Chair of the American College of Physician Advisors’ CDI Committee and on the Board of Directors of ACPA. She is on the Editorial Board of ICD10Monitor and a past member of the ACDIS Advisory Board. Her passion is educating CDI specialists, coders, physician advisors, and healthcare providers with engaging, case-based presentations and the goal of putting MENTATION back into Documentation.
Speaker: Dianna Foley, RHIA, CCS, CDIP, CHPS, has 25 years of HIM experience. She’s an AHIMA-approved ICD-10-CM/PCS trainer, an AHIMA-published author, a participant in AHIMA credential item writing and exam development, and served on the AHIMA Nominating Committee. She presents on coding topics at the national, state, and regional levels and serves as OHIMA’s Education Coordinator.
