Speaker: Pam Phipps, RN, BSN, CHONCis a Senior Consultant at RCCS with over 20 years of experience spanning oncology nursing, chemotherapy, and medical oncology revenue cycle operations. Known for her dedication to patient care and nurse education, Pam draws on a decade as a chemotherapy nurse to guide oncology practices through complex documentation, billing, and compliance requirements. Her hands-on clinical perspective adds credibility and clarity to her consulting work, especially in real-time medical oncology audits, daily charge capture, and infusion nurse training. Pam’s career began at the bedside, but her passion for improving systems led her into EMR implementation as a travel nurse and later into IT consulting roles. Since joining RCCS more than seven years ago, she has worked closely with medical oncology teams across the country, offering both remote and on-site documentation reviews, radiation oncology E/M charge capture, and webinar-based education. She believes deeply in empowering nurses—not just as clinicians but as critical drivers of financial and operational performance in their organizations. Clients value Pam for her pragmatic insights, deep clinical expertise, and her ability to make documentation and compliance approachable, especially for infusion staff. Her impact stems not only from what she teaches, but how she teaches it—with the same care and clarity she once gave to patients in the infusion chair.
