Known for her ability to bridge complex technical and regulatory environments, Kim has successfully led large-scale compliance programs, technology transformations, and organizational change initiatives for healthcare providers, technology firms, and government agencies. In her current role as Business Information Security Officer at Datavant, Kim leads initiatives focused on enhancing the security of health information across Datavant's Provider Services division. She partners with cross-functional teams and clients to strengthen compliance frameworks, ensure secure data interoperability, and drive innovative solutions that support Datavant's mission to connect the world's health data in a secure and compliant way.

Schaffer, JD, MPA, CHPC, is the Vice President of Provider Privacy Strategy and Compliance at Datavant, where she leads the strategy and compliance activities that ensures privacy remains at the heart of Datavant’s mission to make the world health’s data secure, accessible, and actionable.
