Speaker: June Bronnert, MHI, RHIA, CCS, CCS-P is the Senior Director of Informatics at Intelligent Medical Objects Inc. (IMO) where she provides health information management subject matter expertise internally and externally for IMO’s terminology solutions.
Prior to joining IMO, she held various positions including Professional Practice Director at AHIMA where she provided professional expertise to develop AHIMA products and services aimed at furthering the art and science of health information management (HIM). She was responsible for content development and technical reviews of the Association’s products and resources.
Mrs. Bronnert’s experience includes positions ranging from Coding professional, Coding Supervisor, and Director at various facilities, including the Department of Veteran’s Affairs (VA). She was a member of the National Coding Council at the VA where she provided coding educational programs.
June was also an adjunct educator for Cincinnati State RHIT program and University of Cincinnati RHIA program for numerous years while being active in her state and local HIM association. She obtained her Master in Health Informatics from Northeastern University and her Health Information Management degree from Indiana University.
Speaker: Jean L Stevens, RHIT, CCS-P has over twenty-five years’ experience in the coding and reimbursement arena. She is credentialed as a Registered Health Information Management Technologist (RHIT) and is a Certified Coding Specialist Physician-based (CCS-P). She recently participated as a member of the AHIMA CCA Congruency and Accuracy Review workshop as well as the RHIT Forms Cueing and Overlap Remediation session.
Jean is employed by Intelligent Medical Objects as a Principal Analyst for the International Mapping team where her primary responsibility is working with ICD-10 Canada and the Canadian Classification of Health Interventions (CCI). She is a member of the IMO ICD-11 workgroup. Jean is also an adjunct faculty member for the HIM program at Columbus State Community College.
