HCC Education Through the Provider Lens

Description: As the transition to value-based reimbursement continues, understanding the concept of HCCs is vital. Having just completed a four-year federal audit project, Intellis' experience in HCCs is unparalleled. Firelands understood the need to accurately reflect the acuity of their patient population. Together, Intellis and Firelands partnered to educate their providers in a myriad of settings. The speakers will discuss the partnership's successful engagement among their providers and staff. As coding accuracy is crucial in determining proper reimbursement, they will highlight different risk adjustment models, noncompliance that puts revenue at risk, and the value of including providers in HCC education.
