Overview of Leukemia and Lymphoma

Description: Dr. Denlinger will provide information to coding professionals on several topics related to leukemia and lymphoma.  He’ll differentiate between acute and chronic leukemia with discussion on remission versus personal history as well.  He’ll explore the subtypes of lymphoma and provide information on the treatment for both leukemia and lymphoma.  Dr. Denlinger will also touch on multiple myeloma during this presentation.

Speaker:  Nathan Denlinger, DO, MS, is a clinical fellow for the Divisions of Hematology and Medical Oncology and a T32 Research Fellow in Tumor Immunology at The Ohio State University Comprehensive Cancer Center. Nathan is in his final year of clinical fellowship and has a focus on Stem Cell Transplant and CAR T-Cell Therapy for Lymphoid Malignancies. Past honors include Chief Resident for the Department of Internal Medicine. Nathan has presented work at a variety of research conferences, provided oral presentations at Graduate Medical Education seminars and hosted workshops on many medicine related topics at a variety of levels.
