Description: The AMA and CMS are looking at E&M coding changes to continue support of the move to quality of care and a decrease to the administrative burdens on providers. CPT changes are also on the horizon for E&M coding. Looking into 2021, there are several potential changes facing providers that require a deeper understanding of their impact. During this session, attendees will review key E&M coding and documentation. Attendees will be taken through the reasoning behind the changes as well and where to turn for resources when additional questions arise with new guidelines/changes.
