Advanced Medical Terminology

Description: Advanced Medical Terminology will build on knowledge gained in the Basic Medical Terminology course. You will learn terminology associated with diseases and procedures by body system and/or disease process. Terminology for coding tips is a special section of this course meant to identify common medical terminology synonyms which will ultimately assist in better-locating diseases and procedures in the ICD-9-CM index.

If you receive a score of 70% or higher on this course's Final Test (50 questions), you will earn the CEUs for this course. If you do not pass, you will not receive the CEUs. Because the answers are provided upon submission, the Final Test cannot be retaken.
